WildAid releases David Beckham video

13 02 2014

WildAid has released a new video starring David Beckham and The Duke of Cambridge, in which the pair team up with retired Chinese basketball player Yao Ming to campaign for the protection of wild rhinos by encouraging consumers not to buy rhino horn.

The video features the three walking into Wembley Stadium, telling viewers that the world's entire wild rhino population could fit into it, and concludes with William and Beckham saying 'When the buying stops, the killing can too'. The campaign is intended to target the illegal wildlife trade in China and Vietnam by reducing consumer demand and raising public awareness.
